Hey Coach, I am looking for some new cheers for my field hockey and lacrosse team. I was wondering if you can help.

Hey imerin86

I've never actually been a cheerleader but I have listened to lots of cheers (and spent a lot of time staring at cheerleaders,) so I may be able to help you out. I used to date a cheerleader who would always talk in cheers - even when we were ordering food at a restaurant or doing homework. I ended up dumping her because I found all her cheering really annoying, but she taught me a few things about cheering which I'm more than happy to pass on.

Here's a few cheers which might help lead your team to victory:

You're not just some Barbie Doll

Let's Gooooo... (insert your team's name here.)

Gooooo.... (insert your team's name here.)

Gooooo..... (insert your team's name here.)

If you've got a really good cheer which your cheerleading squad uses, to Kidzworld. We'll post the best ones on the site for other cheerleaders to use.

Do you need tips or advice on sports, fitness or health? to the Kidzworld Coach. Keep in mind peeps, the Kidzworld Coach isn't a doctor or a professional athlete or anything like that. He's just a dude who digs sports, plays 'em and knows a lot about 'em. You should always talk to your 'rents, a doctor or your school gym teacher before starting a new sport or a new exercise.

Cheerleaders - Silly Snobs or Real Athletes?

  • They're a bunch of snobs with fluff for brains.
  • They're real athletes who deserve respect.
  • Some of them are total snobs, but some of them can be nice.

I was a cheerleader for 2 years until  I aged out, but let ,e tell you, they were 2 of the best, sweaty and most fun years I have ever had

CHEERLEADING IS LIKE DANCE GYMNASTICS MIXED TOGETHER WITH WORDS. AND DANCE AND GYMNASTICS ARE CONSIDERED SPORTS.
