Movie Review - Malibu's Most Wanted

Jamie Kennedy's show, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, is always good for a few belly laughs. So, does the successful TV show comic make the grade when it comes to the big screen? Kidzworld's got the scoop on whether Malibu's Most Wanted is tight or whack. Check it out!

Malibu's Most Wanted is about a rich, white boy named Brad whose father is running for Governor of California. The problem is, despite living in a mansion in Malibu his whole life, Brad has adopted a street, hip-hop lifestyle. He's changed his name to B-Rad, he wears baggy baby blue track suits and lots of big, gold chains and uses words like 'aight, D-shiznit and holla. He also thinks he's got the potential to be the next Eminem. B-Rad's bad self is ruining his dad's chances at becoming Governor and his dad's campaign crew decides to scare B-Rad white.

The movie starts off kinda slow. For the first 40 minutes the only really funny moments come from Anthony Anderson and Taye Diggs, who play actors who are paid to kidnap B-Rad. But, about halfway through the film, Jamie Kennedy (B-Rad) really starts to have funny moments - like when he's in a rap battle or when he's dancin' at a gangsta party. Even with the slow moments, things like B-Rad's Malibu posse and the poser gang boys make the film worth a ticket - on cheap night.
