Jak II: PS2 Game Review

The Jak II video game for the Playstation 2 game console starts off with Jak getting captured by a bunch of goons. His lil' buddy, Daxter, swears he'll get him free right away! Two years later... Daxter finally gets Jak free. Now they're stuck in Haven City, ruled by the evil Baron Praxis, and under attack by horrible monsters.

Jak II Video Game Action

The video game action in Jak II is all about running, jumping, puzzle solving and a whole lot of monster bashing. Jak saves the day with spinning kicks, flying leaps and, if he has enough 'Dark Eco' energy, some crazy Incredible Hulk-style rage. Later in the game, he'll get some weapons and he can also zoom around Haven City in flying cars.

Jak II Video Game Good News

There's a ton of good news about Jak II like wicked graphics, lots of variety in the levels and a great story. But, the coolest thing about the whole game is that while lots of PS2 video games make you sit and twiddle your thumbs while they load the next level, Jak II is totally fast. You can hustle your butt from one end of a huge city to the other without even blinking.

Jak II Video Game Harsh Problems

The biggest problem with Jak II isn't really a problem, it's that the game is really hard. You'll be playing levels over and over again before you finally pass 'em. The other problem with Jak II is that Jak is after serious revenge and there are some harsh parts to this game. It's definitely not for your lil' sister.

Jak II Video Game Final Word

If you're a master gamer who's looking for an awesome game that'll challenge all your game-playing skills, Jak II is the game for you.

How Hard Is Jak II?
