Tales of Symphonia Gamecube Role-Playing Game Review

role-playing video game for the Nintendo
Gamecube is set in a
fantasy world full of
heroic adventurers and evil Desians. Before you can say "gaming cliche" there's a
magical quest to save the world from the Desians and you're the
hero of the day! There are
monsters to fight, cool weapons to find, huge spells to unleash and
villains to defeat - here's a
game review on whether it's awesome or awful.
Tales of Symphonia - Double-Disc Delights!
The coolest thing about Tales of Symphonia is that it has game -
tons of game. There are more missions, levels, side-quests and
monsters than a single
Gamecube disc can handle so it packs
80 hours of adventure onto two discs instead. There's also
action-packed combat, character
power-ups,
puzzles to solve and lots of monsters to battle.
Tales of Symphonia - Monstrous Villains
What really keeps
Tales of Symphonia from kicking more butt is that
the story to the game is totally basic. You can figure out 90% of the game before you make it to level 10 and that can be a bummer if you're expecting
plot twists and surprises.
Does Tales of Symphonia Save the World?
The
action is great, there are tons of
RPG tricks and toys you can play with to customize and
power-up your characters and the graphics are very cool. It has a pretty basic plot, but if you're looking for a
rock-solid Gamecube
role-playing video game, Tales of Symphonia is worth picking up.
Tales of Symphonia Age Rating: Teen.
Tales of Symphonia Thumbs Up:
Awesome combat action moves and powers.
Tons of gameplay - 80 hours or more!
Lots of skills, powers and spells to unlock.
Cool puzzles to test your brainpower.
Tales of Symphonia Thumbs Down:
The story needs more plot twists.
Each area only has a few different monsters to battle.
Tales of Symphonia Video Game Rating:
