Dreamworks' Shark Tale Video Game Review

Dec 27, 2006

Oscar's a funky fish from Reef City who's all about telling everyone how cool he is and showin' off the moves and the style to back it up. But, he gets into a whole lotta trouble when he tells a little lie about a great big, great white shark. The Shark Tale movie was a splashin' good time and now you can play as Oscar through all the fun and mayhem with the game from Activision. Here's the 411.

Shark Tale - Swimmin' With the Sharks

Diving into this game is as easy as 1, 2, 3. The controls are basic and Crazy Joe the hermit crab will give you the 411 on how to play each level. That's a good thing too cuz this game is loaded with different ways to play. Whether you're putting the fish-fu on bosses, sneaking past guards, racing through Reef City or showing off your dancing moves, there are a lot of ways to play.

Shark Tale - Exciting Underwater Action!

The best part about Shark Tale is that each level is like playing a different game. You might be racing through the city one level, then the next you're pressing buttons to show off Oscar's dance moves. Plus, you can explore Reef City without getting lost thanks to the game map!

Shark Tale - Sharkbait!

Aaaaaaaaaaargh! Bad retro tunes! Unless you dig MC Hammer (who?), the music and sound effects from this game will make you feel like there's water in your ears. It doesn't even have the original voice actors from the Shark Tale movie!

Shark Tale - Is Playing Fish Fun?

Shark Tale is a decent game with some so-so sound effects. If you dig the movie, take it for a spin. If the only good fish is a cooked fish, you can do better with Shrek 2
