In the Dungeons & Dragons Basic Game box you get a bunch of plastic monsters, weird dice, maps of dungeons and some books. The books tell you how to figure out if your brave fighter can thwack the goblin with his sword, what happens when the sorcerer casts a spell and the rest of the 411 on how to play the game.
