The Neopets Card Game just got bigger with The Darkest Faerie set and we have a review!

She's evil, mean, creepy and not very nice at all! The Darkest Faerie and her goons are attacking Neopia and turning the whole place evil in the new The Darkest Faerie expansion set for the Neopets Card Game and in the upcoming Neopets: The Darkest Faerie PS2 game. We have a review of the new cards for the Neopets Card Game right here.

New Cards for the Neopets Card Game

The biggest addition to the Neopets Card Game are the Constellation cards. You have to pay points from your Bank to play one, but then you get a permanent power and some of the powers are hella strong! There are also the heroes, Tor and Roberta, and villains, The Darkest Faerie and her Darkest Knight, from the upcoming video game.

Cool Cards in The Darkest Faerie Set

Have you seen our Darkest Faerie previews? We've had a peek at a few of the cards and they're great! The Constellation cards add a lot of power to your Neopets, but you have to pay a lot of points to use them so if they get wiped out it sucks. It's a very cool balance. And, the heroes and villains have lots of powers to give them a real kick.

Terror and Destruction in The Darkest Faerie Set

The biggest problem with this set is that if you don't grab some, you're gonna get stomped on by someone with Constellation cards. Also, a lot of the cards are only good for Dark Neopets so if you aren't using them, you're missing out.

Something is Happening - Is it Good or Bad?

The Darkest Faerie set is a good addition to the Neopets card game. The cards are gorgeous, the villains are scary, the Constellation cards add new strategies, plus there are more Fyora cards and tons of new ways to draw cards. Make sure you get some before your opponents do!

Neopets: The Darkest Faerie Thumbs Up:

  • The new Constellation cards are great.
  • The Darkest Faerie is really powerful!
  • Tons of new strategies with the Constellation cards.
  • Play with the heroes from the video game.
  • Neopets: The Darkest Faerie Thumbs Down:

  • Tons of the cards are only good for Dark Neopets.
  • If you don't get some Constellation cards, you're in trouble.
  • Neopets: The Darkest Faerie Set Rating:
