Kingdom Hearts II: Playstation 2 Action/RPG Video Game Review
Courtesy of Square EnixThe original Kingdom Hearts video game dropped in 2002 and was an action/RPG video game with an incredible mix of the coolest characters from all the Final Fantasy video games and Walt Disney movies. Now the sequel, Kingdom Hearts II, is here with Sora back as the hero in another battle against the evil heartless. Here's our game review!
The 411 About Kingdom Hearts II for the PS2!
This game is packed full of action! It's basically a
monster-bashin' game where you run around as Sora with
Donald and
Goofy at your side and battle
bad guys. Each level is based on a different
Disney movie and the
heroes of each
movie join you as you
adventure through them. There are also
spaceship levels, as you fly from level to level in a gummi-ship, and
dance games!
What Makes Kingdom Hearts II Da Bomb?
Not only is
Kingdom Hearts II a huge game with an
incredible story that's packed full of cool characters, it's also
easy enough for anyone to play. There are tons of moves you can use in battles - from
ultimate combos to special moves for different situations. You also have the ability to combine characters to form
super-Sora. Plus, each character gains
new powers and abilities that you can choose from. Not only that, but almost all of the character voices are done by the same
professional voice actors from the
movies and
games so they sound great!
Villains, Treachery and Flaws in Kingdom Hearts II
The biggest problem is the
Kingdom Hearts II intro. It takes
forever to get going! It's super-
frustrating, but once you get it over with, the game gets way better. It's also an easy game, almost
too easy if you're looking for a serious challenge for your gamin' skills.
Kingdom Hearts II Supremo Sequel or Suck-Tastic?
This video game sequel
rocks! From the bazillions of options to the huge story and intensely cool battles, it's a game that everybody who has ever watched a
Disney movie or played a
Final Fantasy game
needs to have - and that everybody else should play too.
Kingdom Hearts II Thumbs Up:
An awesome story full of cool characters and bosses.
Lots of battles.
Easy enough for new players to kick butt.
Tons of characters and abilities to use.
The gummi-ships are way cooler.
Rhythm mini-games!
Kingdom Hearts II Thumbs Down:
The intro is way too long!
Not enough challenge for hardcore gamers.
