Channing Tatum Biography
Birthdate: April 26, 1980
Birthplace: Cullman, Alabama
Channing Tatum didn't have acting aspirations all his life. He started out as a rambunctious kid in need of some guidance and found it in private school. It was here that he found a passion for sports, especially football. Channing managed to score an athletics' scholarship to a college in West Virginia, but he soon realized that football wasn't the right path for him.
When Channing Tatum left college, he took on a variety of jobs from construction to mortgage broker. Not long after his college days though, he started landing big modeling contracts for companies like Abercrombie and Fitch, Armani and American Eagle! Of course, once the world started to be exposed to his chiseled good looks, it wasn't long before he started getting cast in TV shows and movies.
After landing a bit role on the show CSI: Miami, Channing went on to act in movies like Coach Carter, She's The Man and Step Up. Recently, Channing starred with Ryan Philippe in Stop Loss, a movie about the war in Iraq. This young star is a hot commodity in Hollywood right now and has at least half a dozen movies in the works including two more war movies, Pinkville, and the GI Joe movie. Good thing he knows how to rock the shaved head.
