'70s Inspired T-Shirts

Movies and television shows are a huge influence on the threads people are sportin'. Movies like Charlie's Angels inspired everyone to hit the thrift stores. They're after all kinds of retro designs, but one of the biggest fashion trends is funky 70's inspired T-shirts for girls and guys.

For girls it's baby Ts with cool iron-on designs of movie stars, cartoon characters, catch phrases and numbers. They're also available with different colored sleeves and material around the neckline. (Way back when, this was called a baseball-style T.)The glitter iron-ons are hot too!

For guys shirts' the designs are similar to the girls - well except for the baby T part. For the fellas it's all about bagginess and comfort. The designs vary from movie stars - usually Pulp Fiction-ish characters, to rock bands, numbers, chicks, cars and products like Atari video game logos.

You can usually find these shirts at stores that carry urban or street wear. Or you can pick out your own designs and styles in specialty iron-on decal shops. If you get lucky you may find something cool and rare at a thrift shop. Whatever the design, they go great with denim and a pair of retro shades.

What's the Coolest Glittery T-shirt?

  • A big rhinestone butterfly.
  • A catchy word like Rockstar or Supermodel.
  • All the ones I make myself are the coolest.
  • I think the whole trend is dumb.

I have to keep sites where I have any kind of interaction with people I haven't met face to face a secret, and it gets hard sometimes because I'm on quite a few roleplay sites which obviously involve chatting/interacting with people. I trust everybody on those sites though, but try telling my mom that.     My parents have gotten a lot better since then, but they're still strict about the chat sites and all. My mom is still very strict, but not nearly as much as then. I guess it's because I've gotten older. I'll be 13 in a few days. c: ALSO. If any of you saw my other post, pretend you didn't xD For some reason I thought I'd posted the original forum post. xDD I guess that's what happens when you haven't been on a site in a couple of years, you start forgetting things.

I know exactly how you feel.  I'm going through the same thing. The thing to know is none of it's your fault.  And you can visit your mom or your dad.  You can try to get your mind of it by hanging out with your friends at school.  I feel your pain.   And I feel bad that this kind of stuff happens in life.  But god will make everything better. :)

Honey sometimes you have to let go of things even though you know you're gonna get hurt. You're gonna end up getting more hurt by them doing something terrible than you leavening them. Follow your gut, it's pointing you to the right direction <3
