Young professional athletes usually have no problem finding rabid fans, big-dollar endorsement deals and nightly appearances on Sports Center. But finding love in a tight schedule filled with high-pressure competitions, big games and worldwide travel can be much more difficult. They're both Russian athletes at the top of their game. Sharapova is the teen tennis queen, who won the 2006 US Open, while Ovechkin is the superstar sniper on the Washington Capitals. Sharapova is currently dating fellow tennis star, Andy Roddick - but that relationship is destined to hit a nosedive faster than Mandy Moore's acting career or his once-great tennis game. She's better off serving some love to a fellow Russian star, who's closer to her age and reaching his peak at the same time she is.

Perfect Sports Couples - Sasha Cohen and Shaun White

These two winter sports stars would go together better than ice and snow. Can't you just imagine the two cuddling together by a fire after a day of boarding and ice skating? White, a gold medal Olympic snowboarder, has already indicated he has the hots for Sasha and the two looked pretty cosey together at one of White's recent parties. Sasha is usually surrounded by wimpy figure skaters and could use someone a bit more laid back in her life to help her mellow out before those big competitions (where she always seems to choke). Shaun, on the other hand, could get some style tips from Sasha to work into some of his big air boarding maneuvers.

They're both teen golf phenoms from Hawaii - so, how come these two have yet to sneak off for a makeout session in a sandtrap? They live in the same state, they golf everyday and they're both trying to qualify for the PGA tour. Michelle may be a bigger household name, but Tadd is making a name for himself, after qualifying for the 2006 US Open at the age of 15. The only thing that seems to be holding back these two potential lovebirds is a serious height difference. The slender Michelle Wie towers at 6'1, while Tadd is just clearing five feet and barely taller than his golf bag. Perhaps he'll hit a growth spurt and she won't wear heels.
