Soccer Camps

Do you want to be the next David Beckham or Mia Hamm? Are you completely crazy about soccer? Then ditch your parents for a day, a week or even a month and head to soccer camp. Here's a look at some of your choices.

MLS Camps
Major League Soccer also runs hundreds of soccer camps in every part of the USA. They have great coaches, run all summer long and are open to kids of all ages. You can go for just one day or sign up for one of the week long camps. For more info, head to www.mlscamps.com.

No.1 Camps
The No.1 Soccer Camps offer camps just for field players or just for goalies. It gives you a chance to improve the skills needed in your position. These camps run for one week and are basically 24-7 soccer. Each day starts with drills at seven o'clock in the morning and ends with games and scrimmages until nine thirty at night. There are breaks for lunch and dinner but other than that, it's all soccer, all day. You'll be dreaming about headers and corner kicks by the end of this camp. For all the details, head to www.no1soccercamps.com.

You can also find info on other soccer camps in your area by checking out a nearby community center or by heading to www.kidscamps.com.

It's definitely an American thing - here in Australia we have like no Cheerleaders or Cheerleading groups. I think it's a sport but I'm not really into it. I think any girls or boys can do it. :3
