Once you've woken up from your turkey-induced coma you better get ready for a bunch of game news and previews! We have the 411 on some free Ubisoft game demos, Final Fantasy XII for DS, the Magic World Championships in NY and birthday wishes for the Nintendo Wii. Ubisoft Game Demos - Coming to a Mall Near You!

While everybody south of the border is digging into a heap of turkey, the Canadian Ubisoft crew is bringing free game demos to malls! They have a team with a heap of DS game systems, a bunch of games and free prizes - all you have to do is show up and check it out. Here's a list of what malls they'll be at and when they'll be there.

November 22nd - 25th: Metropolis at Metrotown, Burnaby, BC

November 24th - 25th: Vaugh Mills, Vaughn, Ont.

November 29th - 30th: Oakville Place, Oakville, Ont.

November 29th - Dec 2nd: Richmond Centre, Richmond, BC

November 29th - Dec 2nd: Upper Canada Mall, Newmarket, Ont.

December 13th - 16th: Eaton Centre, Montreal, Qc.

The Nintendo Wii Turns One!

Happy birthday time for the little console that started out as a giant "What the heck?!?" and turned into a massive "OMG! So good!" The Nintendo Wii is the cheapest of the next-gen consoles and is so popular that, even a year after it arrived, stores still can't keep them on shelves. Not only is it getting gamers off the couch and into the game with the motion-sensitive Wiimote controllers, it's also letting you surf the net and download games. The Wii is even getting families playing together. Yep, thanks to the Wii your grandpa can own you at Super Mario Brothers. Isn't it great?

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings for Nintendo DS

A year after the Final Fantasy XII story wrapped up, it's back on the DS with Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings! It lets you control armies, activate gambits, power-up with over 50 summons and battle monsters as Vaan and Penelo.

New York = Anime Festival and Magic World Championships

New Yorkers are getting their geek on from Dec. 6-9 as the New York Anime Festival hosts the Magic: The Gathering World Championships! It's all going down at the Javits Center and over 15,000 people are expected to show up for the event - including Magic players from around the world who are there to duel and win prizes.
