Noise is the live chat where kidzworld members discuss what they want. We want all of you to have a lot of fun BUT, there are a few rules. No biggie, just common sense. Our monitors are tough on rule breakers so take a sec to read them over.

We do not tolerate harassment of any kind. This means no discrimination against people who are a different race than you, a different gender than you or different anything from you.

No spamming! Don't write the same thing over and over. Don't write the same thing over and over. Don't write the same thing over and over. Don't ... Get it? Pretty annoying, huh? Plus, you can really ruin other people's chats. While we're on the topic - don't start chatting about how you don't like other chatters or how they spell or what the topic is... Nobody likes a whiner!

Don't swear or say gross and rude things. You might think it's funny but just maybe the kids you are talking to don't. You will get the boot. Don't make sexually explicit comments. You will get the boot. Get the picture? 'Nuff said.

Don't post htmls on our boards or in our chats. We have no way of knowing where you are sending someone and if it is safe so we do not allow kids to connect to outside htmls from Noise or Bark.

Do not give out your personal info. This is for YOUR safety, which is number one to us. Never tell another chat person or on the boards your real name, age, address or phone number. You can say you live in Florida , and in Daytona and in a neighbourhood in Daytona, but NOT your street. Email addresses are an absolute no-no. Remember, we're not really worried about you connecting with other kids. There could be people out there that would like to take advantage of you and they are probably adults.

Respect the topic in the room . When there is a specific topic in the chat room - like the latest Nelly video - don't log on and start barking about Linkin' Park.

Ignore. Just click on the person's nickname and click "ignore."

DON'T TYPE IN ALL CAPS. Why? Cuz you are yelling at them. That's what all caps is used for. There is no reason to yell in the chatrooms or on the boards.

Don't be offended if people don't greet you right away. Some people are just really involved in their conversations and might not have noticed you are there. Go ahead and say "Hi".

Be a good listener . Take the time to listen to what people are chatting about so that you can make good comments. Also give people a chance to respond to what you have asked. Sometimes it may take people a minute to think of a response and type it out.
