Hey has anybody here read Hunger Games? What's your story (why did you read it?) Here's Mine: My good friend, Grace, read the book and loved it, telling me to read it. Then Lucy read it, told me it was the best book ever. Celi read it and also said it was the best book ever. Then the movie came out. Delaney went to see it with Sam and Stephanie and they said it was the best movie they ever saw. Finally, Lauren (my next-door-neighbor-friend-who-goes-to-a-different-school), read it and her mom did too and they both said it was amazing. She also said that if i didn't even consider reading that she would break into my house and kill me in my sleep. so one day when i was at the library i saw it on the rack and picked it up. i checked it out and took it home to read it. i loved it! i read till bedtime and then stayed up half the night reading it. it didn't even take me a full day to read it. the next moring i read during breakfast and we had to drive to St. Pete (i live an hour from there) cuz Mom forgot lunch and even though i get really carsick (liek, puke after not a long tiem) i read my book all the way there and back. luckily, dad didn't have to pull over and watch me retch. i haven't read Catching Fire yet... stilll haven't seen the first movie... didn't know they were making another one.. man! i should really buy both books and both movies.
