I don't have a clue. They are both very similar activities and they provide the same amount of skill and flexibility as one another. I'd say that they are both the same. Unless it's like amateur cheerleading.

I'm in both and my opinion is gymnastics because when you are lifting you are lifting yourself up and you dont have any help but in cheerleading all stunts usually have 2 bases. but also gymnastics is all about strength and you never have a break♥

I would think gymnastics would be harder, but then again, I know nothing about cheerleading.

gymnastics, definitely. i was a gymnast for about 5 years, in nationals, and it was pretty difficult. it's about balance, strength, flexibility and concentration. i did cheer leading for a bit after i quit gymnastics, and it got boring after a while. then i went onto skating hahaha. but yeah, gymnastics is harder.
