It would be considerably expensive to overhaul the education system like this. It's never going to happen and the issue it resolves is barely an issue at all, not to mention it's based on gender stereotypes that only ten-year-olds would believe in.

What? They mess up your work?? And they mess with your stuff?  Don't let them touch your stuff, then. And it would get really boring having the same gender in the classroom all the time. The teachers should be doing their job. They need to use the discipline and punish the boys who are causing the distractions. I know it's not just my school, but the teachers at my school won't put up with anything. So therefore, I never have any distractions. Because the teachers deal with it. I think it's a bad idea for the same gender in a classroom.Having boys with girls just helps to balance things out more.

Once you get older, you'll get how important it is to have both girls and boys in one classroom. 

In my case, all the girls in my class are annoying, but amazing. Imagine a classroom with all girls and all boys. Everyone has the same interests.  How is that fun? Most of the friends who stay forever are opposite gender. It's fun to have all sorts of people together.

...Strange thread, but an overwhelming urge to reply pulled me here.

Anyway, different classrooms completely goes against the battle women fought(and are still fighting) just to be allowed to go to school with the male population. 

Secondly, inequality among genders still exists, and having the two genders separate in what I'm assuming to be a public school situation could allow that to negatively affect education.

Third of all, that would require more teachers, which means salaries would have to be lowered to pay all of the faculty and staff.

And lastly, if you don't want to be in the same classes as males, ask your parents to move you to an all girl's school... Plain and simple.
