Sad story:
When my mom's friend was 13, she got together with a 25 year old man and had three kids (one died) She got illegally married at age 14, so I don't think the legal marriage age should be lowered.

I don't think a lot of kids would do it, but there would definitely be some that did.

I know there are plenty of people at my highschool that might take advantage of that lowered age.

No. People should be able to get out in the world and learn how to live on their own with real jobs and everything before they can be married.

I don't think it should happen just because it's not necessary. It's not like if the age was lowered, the whole world would fall into chaos, but it's just silly and unnecessary.

yeah the divorce rate would be a lot higher! because kids would be very immature and get married two weeks after they met, have a kid and divorce a year later!
