Trying to call it anything else just to make your little box of beliefs seem "special" is pointless. Christianity is in every way a religion, and nothing else.

It's not a "lifestyle", or "relationship with gawd!", or anything else. It's a religion.

And now for something completely different.

Well if I must contradict, the religion can be defined as "a personal set or institutionalized system of religious attitudes, beliefs, and practices," meaning it is in fact a lifestyle, in most cases.

Wayell...you have the right to your stated opinion but, gotta say your worng about that. Christian means Christ-Like. So Christianity is the replationship with Christ to be more like him and to become the best you can be.

I've always thought "Christianity" was a big branch. Then, smaller branches would be a Religion. I guess Christianity is a category for which you believe in Christ no matter what Religion you are. Example: If you were saying you are a Baptist, you're considered a Christian.

It's a religion considering with the ideology of a relationship with God.

Isn't it.

What is religion, ask the dictionary:

1.
a set of beliefs concerning the cause, natureand purpose of the universe, especially whenconsidered as the creation of a superhuman agency or agencies, usually involving devotional andritual observances, and often containing a moral code governing the conduct of human affairs.
2.
a specific fundamental set of beliefs and practices generally agreed upon by a number of persons orsects: the Christian religion; the Buddhist religion.
3.
the body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices: a world council of religions.
4.
the life or state of a monk, nun, etc.: to enter religion.
5.
the practice of religious beliefs; ritual observance of faith.

4.
the life or state of a monk, nun, etc.: to enter religion.
5.
the practice of religious beliefs; ritual observance of faith.

Personal experience makes a believer out of anyone; that explains the hordes of evolution deniers.
