I want to start by saying what you believe in, who you believe in, and how you believe is simply your choice!
I don't hold anything against anyone if they don't believe in a HIgher Power, or don't believe in Jesus Christ, or God, or anything else.
I am a Catholic. I am not perfect, and far from it.
I believe in God and I believe that Jesus Christ was God's son brought to earth to bring salvation to everyone.
I have faith in that.
But I don't feel that I have to prove anything to anyone. It's my belief and that's that.
The people that are always asking for proof probably wouldn't believe in God anyway, and most of the time they just wanna create an argument. I'm sure there are some that are reaching out. I'm sure that maybe they want to believe in God, but they just aren't sure about it, and that's okay.Idf that is the case, and you are reaching out for that missing thing n your life, it's God tugging at you, and I hope you find Him!
But if you just wanna debate God, and demand proof, and you wanna say that without proof, then the Bible can't be true, then I can settle that very easily - we'll agree to disagree!
Faith is believing in something that you may not always be able to see and touch!
I have seen how people are that have God in their lives, and that is something that you can see and you can touch.
Yes, there are people that are atheist and agnostic and still do good, and that is awesome.
And the other thing people say is that people kill others in the name of God. That is just an excuse that people use. God is a loving caring God and he would not want others to kill in his name. That's the God that I believe in.
As I said, already, I have nothing against those that don't believe in God. My God wants me to love everyone.
And for those that always need proof,of everything make sure you use a gas meter to measure the oxygen level outside before you take that breath.

You would feel the same way if someone in your class boasted every day about some new awesome James Bond adventure they've been on, and they never provide proof of it despite being asked and told to just believe. Except in religion's case it's someone claiming to be in cahoots with an invisible, almighty deity that's going to send them to heaven when they die because they're better than everyone else.

lol. I know, right? Because making up baseless claims and believing in them is fine. That's how we learn about what's actually real and make technology, but we wouldn't want any of that, for sure.

Because if you can defend your ideas by saying "I don't need proof, its just what I believe" then anyone can defend their ideas that way including people who hold ideas that are harmful, ideas like racism, ##########, and genocide.

as I can say, "Why do we have to prove anything", well we don't really, God is real, that's just a fact. But it better helps people to understand why God does things, and how he did them and how he created the world etc. to better help them understand The Lord and that everyone needs him as their savior.
