I have no way of proving whether a god exists or not.

But I'm still an atheist, because following gods is pointless on an earthly level.

Besides, humanity doesn't need false promises to get by anymore. In ancient and medieval times, you farmed, farmed, farmed, then died. The only thing that kept you going was the ranting of the fat church officials, which you, of course, believed, because the crown and papacy denied you education of any kind, so you'd be naturally gullible and dimwitted.

And now for something completely different.

Actually, the church provided the formal education in medieval times, and it wasn't all that bad.

Mutual caring relationships require kindness and patience, tolerance, optimism, joy in the other's achievements, confidence in oneself, and the ability to give without undue thought of gain.

He usually just makes up things like that. But listen...why do you assert that you cannot prove it to be wrong, and then also say that they are false? And give critique to "fat church officials". Sounds like presupposition bias, in my opinion. But overall...he is correct about the topic. We can't prove anything in absolution, not even gravity.

The church only offered education to people who could afford it, or who wanted to become minor monks and priests, who were essentially peasants as well. The upper echelons of the monasteries were the more money-grubbing ones.

Then again, the church is a big part of why we have an America, why we have anything really. Catholic it may have been, but it helped.

True dat.

It's already been proven by scientists.

First of all it's spelt GOD not god, and second there are lots of proof , lets start with the things scientists have not been able to define or crack e.g i don't know but if u research I'm sure you'll find something, then we have testimonies made by people, and also the bible exists if GOD didn't exist there'd be no such thing as the bible.  I think GOD becomes more believable as you grow older-or not-.
