You mean like when *Spoilers*

Just this month Superman beat Batman into a pulp? Or when in in Hush a mind controlled Superman who was fighting batman with only a tiny portion of his power was about to crush Batman to death with a car when Superman fought out of the mind control? Or in Dk when after being hit with a nuclear bomb, Batman has to fake a heart attack to stop Superman from beating him and even then Supes knows he''s faking it and lets him get away with it because Bruce is still his friend? Yeah, Superman always loses to Batman. This isn''t even mentioning Batman''s plan to take down Superman if Superman ever went rogue, which was to expose him to red kryptonite. Red kryptonite which it turned out made superman even stronger. Well done there Bruce.

Hmmm, I haven't read any of the newer Vs. comics with those two for awhile (I'm more of a Marvel comics person myself), but I remember Batman usually winning the fight using something something retarded like kicking with boots covered in kryptonite.

One of those examples was from two decades ago. I believe the nearest Batman has ever got to beating Superman is when in an alternate reality he ambushed Superman, had kryptonite handy, was just one person in a group of people attacking Superman and Superman was holding back because he didn''t want to hurt Batman.

Batman never has, to my knowledge, and almost certainly never will be able to stand toe to toe with Superman without a lot of things tipping the scale in his favour.

Oh well, I''m probably just imagining it...

...but I find it hard to believe he never beat Superman once though, I mean, he kicked many a badguy''s/supervillian''s/superhero''s/anti-hero''s butt (even my personal favorite, the Punisher), he''s even taken out entire an armada or two of enemies out.

If Batman has time to plan, he can''t lose.

The only thing is with the whole "time to plan" is that basically he gets as long as he wants to develop tactics and weapons and then gets to ambush the other person with them. The same is true of anyone. Do you think if Superman with his super intelligence had time to develop all the tactics and weapons he wanted and got to ambush Batman he wouldn''t win? Hell, Superman travels at 99% of light speed. He doesn''t need a plan because Batman will just be a smear on the ground.

Also he has beaten Superman, but it''s always scenarios like Superman is being mind controlled by the stupidest telepath ever who is using him nowhere to his full potential, Batman has half the JLA helping him out and Superman''s clothes all just turned to kryptonite.

Hell, give me Batman''s resources and enough time to plan and I could take out Superman AND Batman. Time to plan is just another way of saying "Time to develop a dues ex machina device to take out the other person, while at the same time being impervious to any scrutiny so they can use the dues ex machina device without fear of being harmed".
