simply, because people are afraid of death. they want to still be alive when they die, because obviously, no one just wants to be rotting in the ground.

and, why is it so hard to believe that this universe was created by itself? i think it seems more logical than a "god" creating us.

no. the bible is not proof. you can never trust anything unless you have 100% real evidence.

I understand and respect your theory towards this... I assume your also a sceptic when it comes to the paranormal as well? but in my opinon, i beleive atheists are just as wrong as the non-atheists... who are you to say there is NO god? just because there''s no true evidence, doesn''t mean its not possible. there''s no proof that there isn''t a god either... also, think of this, there has to have been some creator. how else would any of this be here? even if the Big Bang Theory is correct, what created it? see, we just don''t know... that''s why i choose to have an open mind. in fact, we may never know, even after we die. again, i respect your theory as it is as possible as anything else, but i always think its good to leave your mind open to possibilites that aren''t right in front of us...

just something to think about.

I do not believe in paranormal activity. But I do believe in other life out there.

That is a very false argument, why? I could say that lepruchans exist, and you could say they don''t, because there''s np proof, but then i could say there''s no proof that they DON''T exist. But that doesn''t mean they do exist. The creater is the universe itself, i don''t know how that''s very hard to believe. It seems more logical then a god creating us.

complex world just came from nothing without no intellignet creator. I
mean, I have never, in my life, seen anything come even close to the
brilliance of the creation of the earth, but perhaps u have.

but technically science can''t prove anything nor experiment on events
and animals or humans of the past. So what do you do? USE A FAITH
SYSTEM!!!!

No. Nice try, but this argument has been used over and over.

Science
can not inherently prove anything, if you take that kind of nihilistic
attitude. In this case, anything is faith, from the belief that even
you exist. Descartes once said, ''I think, therefore I am'', which is
essentially what you''re saying. You can''t prove anything; only we know
we exist, therefore we use faith.

However, such a system has
never shown itself to be of any worth. Tuberculosis wasn''t cured with
this kind of system. The engine wasn''t developed with this kind of
system. The atomic generator wasn''t developed with this system.

Instead,
we use a system of logic which seeks to prove itself to the maximum
point that it can be proved; by observation and mathematics.
Observation gives us the very foundation of our reality.

Since
CAN prove things, if you believe that observation is proof enough.
Science can not disprove something. Mathematics can, however.

Tuberculosis
