im a girl and plus im spendin alot of time with him incase i feel like coming out one day but i get chicken every time. heres the thing. me and my dad kid around all the time. he might be secretly uncomfortable talking to me about serious things since he sees me as his baby girl

Do you know your father's opinion on gays? Maybe you could ask him what he thinks about them and if his answer is positive and you feel comfortable you could ease into the conversation. If you aren't ready to come out don't just do it because you feel you should and if you think he'll react badly then maybe you should wait a while. I really do recommend that you know what he thinks of gays beforehand though. I came out to my mom December 26 of last year. I'm glad I did since it was a big relief, but I'd brought up the subject of gays many times before so I was clear my mom would accept me and had no doubts on it. -I think she'd already sort of guessed it though since I've been involved in gay rights issues for the past two years and am just I'm pretty obvious. Anyway I wish you the best of luck in whatever you chose to do and I am always here to talk.
