The Abridged Prophecy: I See The Light vol. 2

Hello again brothers and sisters of the Mother Tree! I have been inspired once more by her glory. As we last left on in the prophecy, the Man Jude has fallen in love with the nymph, Wither. Jude was no ordinary Man, he was considered to be the King of Men. The Mother Tree had spawned Jude first, after all. He was the most physically fit and most handsome of all Men. The nymph, Wither, was much less than Jude. She was not one of the original nymphs, she was spawned later by the ailing Mother Tree. Wither and the other nymphs of her generation of spawnlings were not like the other nymphs They were much more dark in color, especially hair color. They seemed to almost always be brooding about something. The nymphs all were swooning over Jude, vying for his attention, but his eyes were set upon Wither from the beginning. Wither did like Jude, but, also unlike other nymphs she was not as outgoing and promiscuous. Jude however, wanted Wither as soon as possible. He did all kinds of amazing feats to try and catch her interest. He participated in races with the other men, and completely demolished the competition. He tried his hand at farming and grew tons of different crops, all of which benefited the people. At this point, Jude was getting more angry and the rest of the Men were beginning to doubt Jude's ability to get a Queen for Mankind. At this point, Jude began to try other acts unheard of in the land. Jude began to brawl with the other men, he began to climb to the top of the Mother Tree's children, and he began to try and make Wither jealous by hitting on other nymphs. Wither, instead of growing jealous, grew to accept that Jude did not want her. This prompted the Mother Tree's oldest fairy, and most in-touch with the spirit of the Mother Tree, Sanguine, to call a meeting of all organisms of the forest together at the base of the Mother Tree. "Flora and Fauna of the woods! Here, here! For those who do not know, I am Sanguine. The oldest living fairy and confidant of the Mother Tree herself. She who gives us life, she who gives us energy, she who gives us herself. The Mother Tree would like to confess to you all, her children, that she is indeed growing tiresome of all this bickering and infighting. So, she has laid down rules for me to give to you. The first of the Mother Tree's decrees: There shall be no fighting. Verbal arguments may be permitted. The second of the Mother Tree's decrees: There shall be no climbing upon the Mother Tree or her children without her strict permission. The third of the Mother Tree's decrees: Adultery is strictly forbidden. As long as there is no formal bond between two creatures, then one may be in as many relationships as they wish. The fourth of the Mother Tree's decrees: No organism is better than another. The fifth, and final of the Mother Tree's decrees: The World is a dangerous place. The forest and the Mother Tree are always welcoming to you. Now, that everyone understands...Back to enjoying yourself! Glory in the name flora and fauna!" This, ladies and gentlemen, was volume 2.
