Ok so I am dying of brain cancer. And I have not seen any sign of god. I don't pray but my parents to all the time. I just don't see how if god were real he would just leave me in the dust. Sorry if I am offending anyone but I don't really know what to think...

Honestly.. I wouldnt depend on God in the slightest.. Coming from the tounge of a idoit like myself, the best advice is to believe what makes you happy..  Just because the going gets rough, doesnt mean to lose faith.. But that doesnt mean he was ever hear in the first place. God is the simply idea's of man have created him to be, believed in or not.. He was created for the soul purpose to comfort the minds of people who needed faith.. So use the idea of him to comfort you if you believe in em. Being the godless boy myself, Id do what ever makes you happy. Id also like to wish you the best of luck with your Cancer. Just keep happy.(: thats the only thing that matters.

I'm not going to start a religious debate here; I just want to state what I believe. You should talk to your parents about why they believe in praying and in God. They must have a good reason as to why they've stuck with their beliefs, and I'm sure they would love it if you talked to them about it. At this point in your life, it's especially important not to forsake God. He wants to help you, and He loves you and cares about you. He created you for a reason. Just because things are tough doesn't mean He's mad at you or hates you, when instead it's the opposite. I would really encourage you to at least try reading the Bible, and with an open mind. The book of Job would be best, and if you read it I think you would see why. Also, try to look for the Reverend Billy Graham's column in your newspaper. That always helps me. I'm not trying to be all preachy at you, as I said before. Oy, anyway, I really hope that you make a good decision about everything that's going on in your life.
