But you're talking about atheists being sent to hell by God. Atheist don't believe in either (well, in a theological hell anyway.) so regardless of the existence of both, the atheists will be spiritually trapped in a logical paradox."iamalive" wrote:

Lets say God was proven to be real. What do you think he would do with the atheists? Would they be sent to Heaven or Hell? Or some other place?"not_raph" wrote:

I don't know. God could send them to what would believers interpret as hell but said atheists might not consider it so due to their perception of the concept of hell being untrue, and thus the paradox of it. Just think about it this way, a parent could tell their child to go to the "naughty corner", normal children (lets call them the theists) could see it as some form of punishment, but for children with some form of autistic, anti-social disorder, a time on the naughty corner, alone and no one to bug them, could be pleasant. Let's just say that bad people go to hell, good people go to heaven and everyone else gives "Paranormal Investigators" something to do."iamalive" wrote:

lol. So untrue, just because you dont believe in something...does not mean it is not to happen. And before you are cast down, you are judged of sin and decided if you have trusted in the Lord. So you do know what has happend, what will happen, and why it will happen. ruling out any logical paradox."not_raph" wrote:

See, this is why organized religion is getting more and more detractors every day; it's all scare tactics. You have sinned-a. You shall be cast upon the fires of hell-a! Suffer infinite damnation-a! If you focused more on what good things an individual would gather from following the teachings of God and how it will enrich their lives instead of scaring the crap out of them with all this damnation mumbo jumbo, bible-bashers wouldn't get harassed, any religion wouldn't get so much flack and the current hostility between the believers and non-believers wouldn't be as bad. Look at the Mormons, they're all so nice and happy and accepting of other people's religious and spiritual beliefs. Nobody hates Mormons other than edgy teenagers and radical Christian rednecks EDIT: Sorry about the off-topic post, OP"AlphaT" wrote:
