Express Your Faith
Talk with others about your beliefs. Discuss your religion but no trashing other peoples religious views. Please be respectful.

Most accepted =/= most people believing it.

Nope. Crusades, Spanish Inquisition, etc all went unpunished because they're A-OK in the eyes of the church.
Romen catholic church i know.... BUT they LOST.... besides punishment came laiter on if you can reamember. Martin Louther (not king) started reading the bible to people and alot turnd away from the church but not faith... and sometime after, followers of the church knew it was wrong to be wershiping idles, so they went in and distroyed all of the status (and so on) in the church, that were not of God.

The church not having a lot of power today doesn't really mean that the people responsible for the horrible things the church did were punished, which is the crux of what I'm saying.

What part of "The people responsible for the church doing horrible things didn't get punished" is difficult to grasp for you? I want to clarify what you're having trouble with.
Also, there are few people who hate the church and still subscribe that religion.

You make an interesting point, how it's lasted for thousands of years teaching creationism and yet evolution-ism has only been around since the 1850's. I know I'm outta line with the subject but I just thought I'd point that out. I think it's still alive because people are teaching Christianity to their kids just like you do with anything you think is a fact."hugebear" wrote:
