try taking care of your mom while she's sick. She needs company, too, even though she isn't very well. And I'm sure she could use the help. Also, it would bring you guys closer. Just because your lonely, doesn't mean your alone.

I wouldn't know cause I am twin, but I think being an only child must be really hard. What I would do is spend time with your mom even if she is sick. You don't have to go out to have fun. You can stay in a watch movies, read to her, play a game.

And also as well as apending time with her, you could spend time with friends and if you dont have many,you could try and make some.They would be encouraging.
