So, as my subject title says my parents swear a lot. Not as in maybe once or twice a day but about one-six times per sentence. Is there anyway to get them to stop because it's starting a bad influence....?

My mom swears sometimes and my dad a bit more sometimes but i think they try not to around me and my sister. I'm not allowed to swear. Did that after being warned and got my mouth washed out with soap. Not fair right?

Hello,
I know, it’s hard! I know how you feel. Next time they do so say “Hey guys, it’s really frustrating when you guys swear all the time. I’m not comfortable in a swearing environment and I think that it’s starting to have a bad influence on me. Please stop.” Or something else like that…
I really hope I helped, and if they are still doing it, go to another room or go outside. If you have a device that you can listen to music on, like an iPod, use it. That way you can block out their swearing (if you’re in another room) and you can relax.
Once again, I hope I helped, and good luck! ^-^

Alyssa, I know how the soap tastes. Bet you didn't swear around your parents again. I know I haven't.  Angel

My parents swear pretty often too. I started a swear jar for them, and not only have I profited, but they cut down. :3
