um, well, dragon riders can only have a true dragon. they can't have one that is also a human. however, you guys will most likely be good friends. XD

I jumped from tree to tree, dancing as I went. I hummed and sang. I was rather small and could do these things. I heard another song and chanted a small spell, giving me keener eye and ear sences without changing.

Sumer turned around and her eyes went white. "It's called Rue's Lullaby. My mother used to sing it to me, before she saw me shapeshift. She decided I was too much too handle and abandoned me after I got stuck in half human and half animal form. So I wrote a poem about the laws of my life so that I won't get hurt. Here it goes. People die.....Beauty fades....Love changes.... And you will always be alone." Sumer put the little note away. "Now I can be alone and strong." But Sumer still had a sad look in her eyes.

"Well," Sky went on, "you should stay with me." Realizing she was being to "nice", Sky said, "I mean, only for a little," Sky had always been more secretive and unsocial for as long as she could remember. Her mom was a dark fairy, but her dad was a nice dragonrider. Her mother killed her father, and ever since Sky has been sad.
