At the request of some other players, I have decided to run a pirate based game to replace one abandoned before its start. This is the tale of two rival pirate ships, the Dragon's Dishonor, and the Devil's secret, as well as their supernatural crews, a few rogues, and adventures therein. This will be a pretty rules-light game, and I don't intend to step in a lot as a DM except to describe island layouts and the like, and prevent people from pulling out some Godmode cheat item. But I digress, I'll make a form for newcomers to use. The Dragon's Dishonor was destroyed almost immediately. After a bit of sailing, the Devil's Secret was attacked by a kraken. Now in dire need of repairs, it has made a crash landing on an island full of shipwrecks.

Looks: , his armor and weapons are almost always utterly gore-encrusted


Backstory: Born he was as the normal son of a blacksmith, not much known is about his mother, only that she was a valiant knight, who soon vanished while serving, only a few years after giving birth to her child.


While one may have thought that his father would have wanted him to become a blacksmith himself, his father rather saved all the money he could gather to send Helbrecht onto the academy of the order of the Thousand Sons, where he followed in the footsteps of his mother, of sorts.


Or so his father thought, at least.


Not much is known about what follows after, due to the fact that the order was highly secretive, except that he absolved his training, but always exhibited signs of mental instability, such as a crippling fear before women and he complained about hearing voices in his head, speaking to him of untold destruction and never-ending bloodshed.


These days, he deserted his knightly order, him still being hunted by his former comrades for unknown reasons, making him paint his armor black to show fully show his treason to anyone who passes him.


He joined the crew of the Devil's Secret in a bid to gain power, though he mostly stayed aloof to the rest of the crew, he bore some respect for the captain of the ship, up until the moment that said captain expressed a preference to attack unarmed merchants and rather liked to avoid highly dangerous military vessels, which promptly earned him a throw overboard by Helbrecht who then overtook the ship, it is unknown what he even wants more power for, considering the fact that all his doing only serves for bloodshed in the name of his 'Blood-god'.




Personality: Agressive, secretive, religious, merciless, honorable, self-destructive, dangerousely single-minded, protective, also bears a strange, instinctive fear before women, which mostly utters itself in rage and hate nowadays, however


Weapon: Anything that can be even remotely registered as a weapon, from simple sticks to sabers, rifles, to even cannons and vehicles


Powers: He is able to gain instant mastery over anything he wields, provided that he sees it as a weapon, his physical abilites, such as agility and strength are further enhanced and he is able to enter a berserking state



Other:  There is one single small item on him that is clean and kept safe from blood and harm; a small medallion, bearing iconography of paradoxically peaceful signs, calm waters, peaceful plains, it is unknown what is inside.


This item Helbrecht keeps meticulousely clean, flying into bouts of unstoppable rage if it is struck or otherwise harmed, it is attached to his right arm.

Her mother was evil but since she never new her for very long she was good but still had the erge to do evil, it was in her blood. She now lives in the deepest part of the ocean, somthings drowning sailors, or hanging around with pirates on land since she could grow legs. Personality: Friendly, kind, strong, believes in teamwork.
Bio: Kairi was not what her parents wanted her to be. Her mother had wanted Kairi to be a loving mother and wife. Her father had wanted her to be an educated free woman. Kairi was neither. No, she was a pirate. And that was because.. That was all she was good at. She was bad at learning, and never could get a guy for her clumsy ways. So she became a pirate, and found that it was much easier. Her parents were very disappointed in Kairi. Very. And, to top it off, it was a band of pirates she was competing with who killed her parents to show her she better back down. So, Kairi trained. A lot. And that's how she is a very skilled fighter with swords. Everybody underestimates her because she is a female and young though.
Weapon: Her main weapon is a sword, but she may get a new one. She also has a belt with a rope hanging on it mainly.

Appearance: 
Other: Kairi has a fatal flaw. Once in a while, her vision and hearing will just fade, leaving her completely defenseless. It is impossible to predict the times when this happens, and there is no known reason why it happens either. She will also pass out.
