The glow dimmed. She picked it back up. It brightened. "This is not normal.." She said aloud, and sat on the rock staring at it, freaked out.

(Ohh ok.) Anna got up, and slipped the shard into her hoodie pocket. The connection to the sky felt stronger when she had it. She didn't want to go back home yet and went to the lake. Sitting by the water's edge, she gazed up at the clouds.
