Artemis smiled at the falcon. "She is doing just fine. In the meantime, we will try to find a way to signal help". Artemis dug through his backpack & his took out a flare. "Do you wan to do the honors, Lucy"?

"Thank you, Artemis, I will." She walked outside and aimed it 80 degrees in the way the wind was going. She set it off and watched it whirl into the sky.
"Hopefully it will work," She grinned at Artemis.

Artemis flinched at the explosion of the flare. "It worked. We just need to hope it will get someone's attention...and also hope it did not hit an aircraft".
