I had made a realization. "You're right October... You were always right..." I whispered, feeling heartsick. I had started to believe this wouldn't work.

Even if the castle, burns away to a crisp, if the decomposing bodies, are one day nothing more, eve if my secrets, one day lose their allure, even if the gold, one day turns to dust. My vow I shall keep, and not stray from it's path, all for one and one for all, I vow one day, the Dark King will fall.

I sat up and gently rolled up my sleeve to my hospital gown. I had a bandage on my wrist. I slowly unwrapped it and sighed. It was a very large and ugly scar full of dried up blood. And it was really sore. I thought about my form in heaven, no scars, a beautiful image.. And I started to cry again. I felt that I was now permanently broken. No hope for me.

This made everything worse. Now I was truly alone. All I really had was Alaska. A few days later I was finally able to leave and I retrieved Alaska from the animal shelter and I got my things from the motel manager. I walked to the airport and bought the soonest ticket to Germany. I sat down and waited for the plane to arrive, Alaska was in a different part. She would be taken to the pet section.

I continued with my previous activities. My arms were bleeding badly and I just lay there, tears in my eyes, sorrow portrayed in their amber depths. "God help me.." I whispered, biting my bottom lip.

I caught the plane and went all the way back to Germany. I went back to my old house in the woods and unpacked everything. I allowed Alaska to run around freely as I sobbed in my room. I locked myself in there, starving myself. I wouldn't eat, I wouldn't sleep. I would just cut.. And smoke.. And burn myself. I ripped my phone in half and broke my computer. I was slowly killing myself and I didn't care.

I was intoxicated, and hopelessly hysterical. I didn't take my medicine, and never left the apartment unless it was to get more alcohol. Spending hour after hour hallucinating, and taking a gun to my head, every time I was about to give up living.

At one point I took off all of my clothes and stared at myself in the full length mirror. My body was no longer beautiful and smooth.. It was full of cuts, burns, and bruises. I was so ugly. I lit another cig and took a hit off it, laying in bed, not even bothering to put on clothes. I didn't take care of myself, but I did take care of Alaska. I knew she was worried about me though.. Because I wouldn't even let her sleep with me anymore. I couldn't give her loving anymore. I couldn't love anyone anymore.

I woke up one day, and decided to pull myself together, I took a shower, and took my medicine, cleaning up a little and doing laundry. Much better. I then called October's friend Luna, who's number I had gotten when I had talked to her the first time a few weeks ago, to see if she had seen October.
