I have absolutely NO idea how to complete the square. I tried googling it and using various different websites; i tried asking my friends and my math teacher too but it is quite pointless. My math teacher at school cannot teach and I'm stuck feeling lost and confused every single lesson. Luckily I go tuition but I won't be in tuition for another two weeks so please help me figure out how to do the completing square method.

One question that came up was

x squared - 9x = 7

No it is possible to work out the answer, I just don't understand what the answer is and how you get to it.

EASYPEASY ! x squared - 9x = 7
Setit equal to zero... sub 7
x^2 - 9x - 7 = 0

NOW USE THE QUADRATIC FORMULA TO SOLVE
x^2 - 9x - 7 = 0
A= 1
B= -9
C= -7
