Chapter 4: Part 2
I stuck my nose into the air and inhaled my surroundings. Wet pine needles, fresh rain, deer, rabbit, salt water, and strongest of all; Wolf.
As I continued walking, I tripped on a log that seemed to appear out of nowhere. Hitting the ground hard, I had to spit out the dirt and leaves that had found their way into my mouth. Right before I could stand up, I saw the bright gleam of eyes in the darkness. About six pairs of deadly eyes. I pressed off of the ground slowly, pushing myself up onto my shaking legs. A low growl was beginning in one of their throats. I backed up away from the small pack, avoiding the log. Two more growls chimed in as I turned around and swiftly trotted off. Oh god I hope they don't follow me. That thought motivated me to sprint as fast as my body would let me. The trees all blended together as I thrust my whole body forward. Faintly in the distance I could hear another howl, belonging to a different wolf then before, and light footsteps. The woods were becoming unfamiliar to my senses, but I trudged foreword.
I would make this all cool and stuff, but I am far too lazy to do so.
