the sun took hold of my skin and caressed me in its warmth. i stopped i could feel a smile creep upon my face and then, i frowned. i had no reason to smile. my fist were clenched and i could feel myself become angered.
it was all her fault. i pushed the hair behind my ear and started to walk down the long pavement road. i listened to my feet as they slapped while i walked. it was the only thing keeping me together.
flip flop, flip flop, flip flop. i ran faster as the steps to my house appeared. i took off my shoes as i entered the door. The odor of filth and mold cursed my nose and i shook my head like a wet dog."Elizabeth where were you?' my mother appeared from he hallway and i mumbled something unpleasant. " i was just under the cherry tree, i wanted to see the blossoms" i lied. the cherry trees only bloomed in the summer. i remembered a voice when i used to stand by the cherry tree my mothers smile. and a man. but it was winter and the cherry trees didn't even have leaves. i stared at my mom her red hair was rusteled into a messy bun . her eyes had dark circles. "Im sorry"
OMG. true story time. ok so you know those breath sprays that people use in the movies before someone is about to kiss someone. well i thought it was perfume they used. and i tried it when i was smaller , AND IT TASTED REALLY BAD
