We can't necessarily trust the Bible. The Bible is a secondary source (for those who aren't in 6th grade social studies, it means accounts written from oral sources, not by the person themselves). Who you should be relying on is if God actually did speak to you in your head. THAT would be a primary source. No, don't go think "GAYS SUCK" in your head and take it as "a sign from God." that would be so gullible of you.


Gays are awesome. They are people just like you, me, or Taylor Swift. They are everyday people you would see on the streets or at a football game. The way people that don't like gay people treat LGBT people disgusts me. Can't you see that you're mentally killing someone? Can't you see people commit suicide from this often? Can't you see that?

 

well if you're a christian or jew you pretty much have to take the bible seriously and trust it, it's kind of the most important book in human history, tolerant christians tend to ignore most of the old testament but those people come from more liberal parents, who aren't in an overwhelming majority right now

I'm not a Christian or Jew, and my parents are liberal.

But to people who are and take their religion seriously and don't cherry pick, they almost have to be anti-gay. 

The bible condemns gays to death. 

isn't it lovely that this is one of the most sold books ever?

You don't go to hell for being gay. You go to hell when you reject God and His mercy and His plan for your life.

The Bible tells us that God does not approve of ########## ###, but it's entirely silent on the subject of being gay. So, what is left for people who same ### attractions but who want to obey God's law if God calls ########## ### an abomination?

It's a difficult road, but not an impossible one. Many people are called to be celibate for God, not just gay people. In fact, the attitude of the modern world, that Everyone should be married doesn't match very well what the Bible says about what God wants for His people. Paul wrote that he would prefer that everyone stay single and serve the church with their whole heart and mind.

Does God want you to celibate? I don't know. That's something that you have to work out with God on your own. What I do know is that regardless of who you're attracted to, God loves you very much. Being gay, or having a same ### attraction, does not make you evil. It just means that you have a temptation to a certain sort of sin. There are other kinds of sins. People sin by lying, by being filled with ############ lust, by stealing, by cheating, by being jealous...etc. The sins of ########### are no worse than any of these sins
