For one of the most occasional times in her life, Zabrina cried amongst the branches of the tree she occupied, her face buried in her hands. She wasn't sure why exactly she was crying ... there were just so many emotions and feelings flooding through her ... As tears rolled down her cheeks, lightning flashed in the sky, and the sound of thunder sounded in her ears. She hardly flinched as she involuntarily caused a bolt of lightning to strike the ground before her, but ignored it as it eventually disappeared. "Witch! It's a witch!" voices cried in her mind, which caused her to turn her head to see several armed men emerge from the shadows of the trees. "You saw what she did! Grab her!" they ordered amongst themselves, and before she knew it, they had grabbed her by her wrists and were dragging her far away. The first man dangled a crystal necklace before her, which somehow faded her powers, deeming them useless. Zabrina struggled, but there was so many of the men ... she was helpless.

Zabrina struggled as her hands were bound to a post behind her, her heart racing at the sight of the wood and stones that surrounded her in a wide circle. Crowds had now approached the scene, and were crowding around her, keeping a far distance from the wood and stones. Zabrina remembered her vision, which caused a chill to run down her spine, but she remained powerless. "Oh, god ..." she managed to murmur as the piled wood and stones were lit up in flames, which drew closer to her by the minute. A low whimper escaped her as the flames licked at her ankles, threatening to burn straight through her skin. Minutes passed ... A spine-chilling scream of agony escaped her open lips as the flames began to engulf her, which caused her to throw her head back, which then knocked her out into unconsciousness as her head slammed against the post.

A guardian of Zabrina Wren leapt directly into the massive fire, crashing into her as the figure carried her away from the flames and free from harm. The villagers that had once cheered now yelled and shouted furiously, their eyes flooded with anger and confusion.
