"Hmm...no...maybe..." I spot a corner house with most of the lights off and no car in the driveway. Going over to it, I check the recycle bin, then point to it. "Yup, this one is their house," I mutter, seeing the empty booze bottles that she at least had the decency to recycle.

"That will be the doorbell," I mutter drowsily, my head on the table. It's quiet, but it's going to ring in a second.
I look up curiously, sneakily cutting myself another slice of cheesecake as if I'll get in trouble for having seconds.
