"Come on Kat, let's go" Rishima said getting her bag.

Kat grabbed her rucksack and headed out the door. She slammed the door shut, but realised that  the key was inside. "We have to go and get it,  through the open window?" She said.

"Yeah sure, I can't fit in there, I bet you can. Get some snacks too!" Rishima said cheerfully.  Rishima sat on the grass and waited till Kat came back.

Kat scrambled through the window, breaking the vase of flowers that were placed in front of it. She grabbed the keys and shrugged her shoulders and closed the window. "I'll clean this up later." She said to herself, and opened the door. She made sure that she had the keys before she slammed the door behind her again, and tapped Rishima on the shoulder. "Come on, it's time to go." She exclaimed.

"But what about the snacks?" Rishima complained.  She sighed and picked up her bag.

"Food? We're going on an adventure!" Kat said to Rishima, as she showed her the purse full of loose change. "I have some money with us too, and don't worry about food, there should be plenty on the way, anyway." She said. They walked to the end of the street, and turned right, they made their way to a cobbly path. Kat pulled out her map. "Now this should be North, and we need to be North-East." She said, with a puzzled look on her face.

"Hmm, let's just start walking this way and see where we end up" Rishima said pointing towards the Northern side of the cobbly path. Rishima puts on her sunglasses, grins, and starts walking with Kat.

"Yes, good idea," Said Kat. She scrambles in her rucksack for her sunglasses aswell, as it is blindingly sunny. "Must be the winter weather." She said.

Kat and Rishima walk on the narrow trail for quite a while and then Rishima's stomach growls.  "I didn't eat a good breakfast" Rishima says shaking her head.

"Oh, you silly duck! We should be nearly at an exit, where there should be a little shop," Said Kat, looking at her watch. "It's nearly lunch time! I'm hungry too." She said with a worried look on her face. Their pace picked up, and they kept retracing their steps, hopelessly looking for an exit from this path, when they came across a rather large house.
