Clavin: "Alright. The point in this, is to really know your enemy. Or anyone for that matter. What you are doing is reading recent or frequent thoughts that the person is thinking. You hone in on those, nd then use it to your advantage. This is a very hard talent, but this is possible. To start, I'll bring in two lowly Town's People. Their minds are open and easy to read." I usher the two Citizens to the seats across from Sophia and Wester. "First, you must have a grasp on the person. It can be on anything. Their voice, their words, their style, even on how they look. The easiest way is to just ask a question and hone in on the personal answer they give you. That unlocks their mind and allows you to read their thoughts."
Wester: I stare at the Town's Man sitting across from me. He's atleast 30, just an average guy really. What's your fondest memory?" I ask the man.
Gandal (Town's Man): "When I was twelve, I shared my dessert with Klaurie Setter. That was a fine lady."
Wester: I smile and try to focus on the personality of the man's voice and how the memory was important to him. I close my eyes and replay the man's voice over in my head until I feel as though I'd said the sentence myself. And then I heard other thoughts in the man's voice. I opened my eyes and the thoughts vanished. I turned to Clavin, "How do we know when we are reading the person's thoughts?"
Clavin: "You'll know. For now, just memorize the three most frequent thoughts in the person's mind."

Sophia: I look at the woman in front of me. She is probally about 25ish or so. She has long brown hair and brown eyes. Her skin is kinda pale. "I want a few simple answers. Ok?" I ask her. "Ok." she replies in a low soft voice. "Answer in the order I ask. Age, Kids,Married,Favorite color. " I see Clavin watching me. "I'm 24.5, 2 kids, I'm married and green." Once she answers me I feel her mind clear. I focus my energy on her. It's differnt from when I'm having a mind conversation with Wester. I slowly hear her thoughts. She's worried about her family because of everything that is going on. Theres a chance she is pregnant to.

Wester: The man's mind clouds up a bit more, so I ask more detailed questions. After asking rou ds of questions and still being unable to read his thoughts, I asked him"What's your favorite book?" Immediatly his face lightened up and a sparkle shown in his eye. "The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton. I had some rough teen years, and when my teacher handed me the book during dention, my entire world changed." I closed my eyes and took all the heart and energy radiating off his words and tried to connect to it. I focused on everything that was going on in his mind. A sick family member, and so.e problems at home. The man went into detail for a while longer, but when he paused to take a breath, Clavin bellowed out "Alright, that is all."

Sophia: After a second I say "She's worried she is pregnant and it's not a good time because she is married but her husband is very sick and could die." I say looking down. I wrap my arms around my body feeling for the poor woman.
