It's nothing personal, but I don't accept requests from people with private profiles. There is a reason. Here is why:

once I accepted a request from a girl with a private profile. Only after I accepted the request and could read her bio I realized I didn't like this person at all. This is why I don't accept requests from people with private profiles.

Now, I have received many requests from people with private profiles, and I just can't accept them. Sure, you might be nice and sweet, but how would I know??? You could easily be stuck up and insolent like the girl I accepted. I'm not saying you are, and you probably aren't, but if you have a private profile, I won't accept you. I felt I had to post this because I receive many requests from people with private profiles.

First off, I have no idea who you are, so this is irrelevant to me.

Second, you can just accept it, check their profile, then delete them immediately afterward if you don't like what you see. That's what I do.

I agrees with Dezarkle and TruSpirit.  If someone adds you then you can accept if you want to and then delete them again if you want to
