I have never had lunc this late. Ever. I have lunch 5th hour, which is at 11:30am. My stomach does NOT stop growling. I've tried eating grapes, goldfish, lifesavers, and gum during passing period. I eat cereal for breakfast. What else can I do?! I have a test tomorrow and I'm scared it's going to growl again and be even more noticeable. My teacher that hour won't let us eat during the class and she won't let us leave during tests. Ugh! Help. Confused Frown

I'm proud of who I am and what I do.(:

one meal isn't that much,I never eat lunch on school days.

Can you sneak granola bars in your backpack to snarf down in the halls or get some for your locker? I know what you're talking about and it makes it really hard to concentrate let alone for a test! Ideas anyone else?

People ask for help and ideas on here, not "oh well it doesn't affect me so tough it out" If that's the case, ignore the thread.

Ello and has you tried 

Eat the breakfast before you leave for school [the cereal, toasts, juice and youghurt]
break [chocolate, crisps [chips] and fruit and milk/ juice or water]
lunch [whatever you eats for lunch]

Im not the dietstitian but eat the healthy diet and research it more and good luck smile

well you two must have serious medical conditions if 1 small meal is necessary to survive for you. I never eat lunch at school and I have ADHD and I still manage to concentrate so honestly stop acting like missing lunch is suicide.

Hi! If you want to fill up your stomach, eat foods with a lot of fat or carbs in them (or both!). Cereal is 'ok' but the other things you listed just won't fill you up. Early in the morning try eating something like sausage links, or just plain sausage in a muffin or something like that. Pancakes or waffles with syrup will also do the trick, along with some juice. Oatmeal is also a good choice here. If you want the king of snacks, dry roasted peanuts (or most other nuts) are the way to go. Just a small bowl or handful will really make a huge difference.

The important thing is to do what Allie suggested, which is to snack in the middle of the day. It's a lot better for your body + you'll feel a lot more energetic if you fuel the fire, instead of trying to fill up on a ton of food by eating a giant breakfast and then hoping that'll solve everything, as long as you're eating things that are healthy for you. Hope that helps.

I've always had lunch around that time.
Just bring some snacks from home, that will fill you up, or eat more breakfast.
I don't eat breakfast, so I dunno if that's a good thing or not, but that's what I'd do.

Someone once told me not to bite off more than I can chew. I told them I'd rather choke on greatness than nibble on mediocrity.

11:30?! Are you kidding me? How about 12:05? Maybe you should be grateful for your really early lunch. Unlike some of us. I don't know how you can still be hungry after eating cereal and eating other snacks throughout the day. I ate a muffin today for breakfast ( At 6:15) and I wasn't even hungry at 12:05. SMH. I think you need to eat a heartier breakfast. Eat eggs, granola bars, breads, thick smoothies or milk. Fruit, vegtables, better cereal like frosted mini wheats, or something with dried fruit in it. I still don't know how you can possibly be hungry.
