Khleo Thomas - Before Holes
Klheo Thomas was born in
Alaska where his dad was stationed with the Army. Later the Thomas family moved to Southern California where Khleo began doing
TV commercials when he was only
six. Khleo Thomas decided to shorten his name for his acting career and picked Khleo (pronounced Cleo) because it was a combination of both his first and middle names -
Khaleed Leon. Khleo Thomas landed a guest role on the T-NBC show
City Guys and a role in the comedy movie
Friday After Next before scoring the role of Zero in
Holes.
Khleo Thomas - Lands Zero
Khleo Thomas auditioned three times for the role of
Zero in the
Disney hit movie
Holes. First for the
casting director, then for the
director and finally he did a
screen test (a filmed
audition). Khelo didn't think he got the role because there were so many other kids at the screen test and no one seemed to pay attention to him. Two days later he got the part.
Khleo Thomas - Did U Know?
