The Sims? Meet The Urbz for PS2, Xbox, Gamecube & GBA!

Dec 27, 2006

The Sims is the game of virtual people from Electronic Arts (EA) and it's a wildly popular and totally cool video game that you can get for your PC, Playstation 2, Xbox, Gameboy Advance and more. The Sims are fun, but they're a little lacking in style so EA put their best game geeks in a room and fed them nothing but KD until they came up with a fix for the problem. Now The Urbz are coming to the PS2, Xbox, Gamecube and Gameboy Advance and we have the scoop here!

What Makes The Urbz Cooler Than The Sims?

First off, rather than getting a lame job as a dentist or some other dorky office thing, The Urbz get cool jobs makin' sushi, selling fireworks or other things. Plus, rather than dressing in something from Barbie's fashion closet, they can style it up with piercings, tattoos and you can even hook up your Sony Eye Toy and include pics from that as part of your style.

The Urbz On PS2, Xbox and Gamecube vs. GBA Urbz

There's no way these games will be the same, so what's up? The deal is that if you're a GBA gamer you'll have a mission to complete with your Urbz just like The Sims Bustin' Loose for GBA. If you have one of the consoles though, you'll be able to chill in an entire city with your Urbz and build up your Urbz street rep. Once you build your rep, unlock areas, and learn how to get other Urbz to do what you tell 'em, you'll be on your way to being the biggest player in the city.

When & Where Can You Get The Urbz?

Ease up there! The Urbz are a brand new bit of news from EA and are only showing up at the Electronics Entertainment Expo in LA from May 12-14, 2004. After that, we'll bring you more news. For now, check out these Urbz video game screenshots:
