EA Announces Spore!

The giant video game company EA has been working on a massively cool new game that lets you guide a species as it evolves from a squidgy thing you could scrape off your shoe all the way up to creating pop music and exploring space! The game is called Spore and EA just announced that it's going to hit stores September 7, 2008 for PC, Mac, DS and cell phones.

Get Wild!

Grab your camera and head to the African wilderness with Majesco's Wild Earth: African Safari game that lets you take pictures of the native animals. It's coming in April 2008 but we have a preview video, and pictures, right here!

Fairy Puzzle Time

The Spiderwick Chronicles video game is on the way and it's bringing a pack of monsters and mayhem with it. Get the facts straight from Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide by reading this riddle and figuring out which monster it's talking about. If you guess right, not only will you be better prepared to defend yourself, you'll get an exclusive preview of the upcoming game.
Lurking underground, these weird-looking creatures like living in mines and digging at night - but nobody knows what they dig for! If you're near one of these creatures, don't whistle or swear unless you want to be pelted by rocks. But, don't hate 'em because if you're underground their cave-in warnings could save your life. Not only is EA finishing Spore, they're also working on turning a batch of Hasbro board games into video games so you can play 'em online. Littlest Pet Shop and Nerf "N-Strike" are coming for the DS and Wii while Monopoly and Scrabble are on their way for even more game systems.
