Fashion Police :: 2008 Academy Awards

The 80th Annual Academy Awards was so long and boring that it scored the lowest ratings in Oscar history. Luckily, we had some interesting fashion statements to keep us entertained. Check out Kidzworld's picks for the best and worst dressed at this year's Oscars!

Kidzworld's picks for best dressed are Anne Hathaway and Jessica Alba!
2008 Academy Awards

Best Dressed: Anne Hathaway

After last year's fashion disaster, Oscar presenter Anne Hathaway redeemed herself in a gorgeous asymmetrical gown with a peek-a-boo opening at the shoulder. Lots of rosettes and beautifully flowing drapes made this a winner on the red carpet.

Best Dressed: Jessica Alba

Another star who set the red dress trend during the Academies was Jessica Alba. The yummy mummy-to-be glowed in a plum empire-waist gown with some pretty plumage. She finished off her goddess look with a braided updo and gold jewels.

Honorable Mentions

  • Penelope Cruz - On hand to support her leading man Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz looked effortlessly graceful in a black dress embellished with feathers.
  • Marion Cotillard - You may not know who this French actress is, but you'll be seeing her everywhere now that she accepted this year's Best Actress award wearing a chic mermaid gown. C'est magnifique!

lisp or not, i'm sure you're a nice person. i don't even know if you can get rid of this lisp- maybe practice speaking at home, try different movements with your lips or mouth, i don't know. don't let a lisp make you less confident, that doesn't change anything about you as a person. be yourself and be confident.

you really need to have a proper chat with your parents. you're doing really well in school, and seem to have a good set of friends, and tell them that you should be able to go out, i mean you've done nothing wrong and surely should be allowed a little freedom in return?
