Spalding Rookie Gear

Becoming a superstar athlete doesn't happen overnight; you have to crawl before you walk. These lighter balls will help you develop your skills and improve your confidence!

The Right Size

Whether it is soccer, basketball or football, if you practice with a ball that is too big or heavy for your size you can develop bad habits. That's the good thing about training with Spalding Rookie Gear products, because you can play with balls that are the perfect size for you! All of the basketballs, soccer balls and footballs are designed to weigh 25 percent less than the standard youth balls. They are perfect for kid's eight-years-old and under!

Perfect Training tool

Unlike other kids balls that are too much like toys, these balls are extremely similar to the standard balls that grown ups use. Because they are lighter, you will be able to practice the proper techniques and mechanics. Whether that is throwing a perfect spiral with a football or shooting a fundamental jump shot, these balls will help you improve your skill and build your confidence. You will be able to kick the soccer ball farther, catch the football easier and shoot the basketball with greater distance!

By the time you are ready to move up to standard sized balls, the transition will be easy and you will already be fundamentally sound! You will be light years ahead of your comp! Plus these balls look really cool. The color and cool design of these balls are sicker than the flu!
